Watford Junction Communal Spaces

We designed the scheme at Watford Junction with a clear response to its surroundings—an area defined by movement, infrastructure, and a distinctly industrial edge. Our approach embraced that character, shaping a design language rooted in what we like to call industrial chic.

Each space was driven by its own brief. The communal areas lean confidently into this industrial aesthetic, creating a deliberate contrast with the softer, greenery-led marketing suite. This balance gives the overall scheme depth—distinct yet cohesive.

A refined material palette was key. Warm, rich timbers sit against metal mesh detailing, bringing texture and structure, while layers of plush velvet soften the look, adding comfort and a sense of understated luxury.

The result is a space that feels authentic to its setting—industrial at its core, but elevated, inviting, and designed for real living.
